The Challenge

Hycom.Digital needed to expand their IT and Sales business units in Poland and Germany, against increased competition from US based organisations who were launching in the CEE regions.

YCG provided recruitment consultancy and implemented a wider employer branding piece to support the business to become an ‘Employer of Choice’ within their market. We developed internal team members with key recruitment skills to be able to position themselves at the top of their industry.

Recruitment branding became a main focus of their activities. The Challenge

Parr struggled to hire for their facilities and projects business, due to issues with reputation and reduction in margins by hiring candidates via recruiting agencies, paying large fees per candidate. This typically included AC/Gas Engineers, Electricians, Helpdesk and other head office positions.

 

YCG’s Solution

YCG launched their subscription service on a nine-month consultancy agreement, working directly with their C-suite leadership team, HR function and hiring managers to successfully navigate their challenges and drive their recruitment internally. Not only did we tackle immediate hiring needs, we also pipelined candidates for future vacancies to improve time to hire.

 

The Result

As a result, we consistently helped onboard and retain 4-5 Engineers each month, providing over 40% month-on-month saving on recruitment fees. In addition, we were able to turn around key vacancies within a matter of days – one key example is the hire of a Tiler within just 24 hours from the vacancy being presented.
